Greetings people!!


Well, it has been a couple of productive genealogy days, found out so much stuff about my ancestors. I got new documents, pictures and slowly but surely my tree is coming together and, somehow, an homage to my mother’s brilliant

recollection skills is coming about….Yup, she was a very bright woman my mom and her anecdotes of her past are being dug up slowly but surely by yours truly, confirming them is just the cherry on top of the Sundae.I could tell you facts but what do you care about them, it has become a very private matter to me and no one without exception is being let into my new discoveries. I know I know, “What am I doing it for then?” I guess it all has to do with my passion for digging old stuff up. I once planned to be an archeologist but destiny had other plans...cliché statement but true, I feel that one day someone is going to ask me about my life and I will be more than ready to answer them…I admit every time that I find a document related to a relative my brain recalls the proper anecdote associated with it as told by my mom. Like for example, in one of her stories of her past, my mother told me that she took care of our oldest cousins while their mother traveled intensely the globe. Guess what? I found the paper trail associated with this moment in time.

Kudos to her! Mind you some stories were embellished a tad, makes me think of of a great poet who once hid a city in one of his writings...

PS Can’t wait for my DNA results to come in...I’m still betting on the “extraterrestrial “ gene to show up. One of my bros looks strangely like a sister of my mom…..I smell potential dramaaa!

Cloudy shade of purple

Howdy people…..


So I have this channel where I can see old movies, according to the standards by kids today; to me they are classics. Two days ago, I was seeing “Purple Rain” and I was all gung ho about it stating that it was a “classic” and that they don’t make movies like this anymore; also stating that the soundtrack was “Epic”. So as I was seeing the movie it hit me: “What is this shit about???”

Seriously folks, I know this is Prince and shit, but have you ever seen the movie lately?? As far as I can tell, the movie is about a mediocre musician who is given a last chance by a music promoter and is madly in love with a woman who I thought was prettier than what I remember; seriously Apollonia, how old are you??? But back to our plot. Prince only finds his talent when his father tries to kill himself and I personally thinks that Prince “steals” the music from his washed up father. The soundtrack still rules compared to the “beep bop” crap kids hear today….


It is amazing how time distorts the facts….I thought that Apollonia was what my future wife would look like; thank God for reality! Wonder how she looks like now…Thank God for celluloid that keeps our youth frozen in time...

Happy 2017...I know a bit late but been busy...kinda...

So what have I done? Well, not much; really! Last week I wandered out for a bit because we had super cold weather so the snow turned into ice, no worries about getting stuck in it. Also, I did some major breakthroughs in my genealogy tree; yes I’m still working on it. I found documents that demonstrate that the mother of my great grandmother was putting out kids at the age of 44 in 1885. Her last child was born just 15 years before my grandmother's birth. It is hard to believe but math and documents don’t lie so either I believe them or start working on other theories….

Maybe my DNA test will shed more light on who the fuck I am and where do I come from….(It has arrived in Ireland where they are about to analyze it)
