Hello…
So last week
I talked about being interviewed on the radio regarding the elections; a Guzman’s
first. Well the following day I made history again by being the first Guzman of
my clan, in Canada, to purchase a shotgun; bullets and all! It didn't sit well
with my better half who vented her frustration towards the whole situation by using the "D" word. Said I wasn't able to shoot a fly if I wanted to....She even gave me her sister as an example -she lives in a place so far now that guns should be
mandatory there… the girl’s gone survivor on us, they basically eat whatever the
land provides; don’t ask me about what they do for toilette paper…you don’t
want to know…. But back to my story.
So I bought
a shotgun and how I wished I would have tested it on my wife, but life would
have it played differently. No, the first one to taste the action of my shotgun would be my
little one. She came in and I showed her my gun and, accidentally, it went off! “What
the hell dad!” were the first word that came out of her mouth. I had missed my
first ever shot; I was sad and relieved at the same time. She kept on yelling
and with an affirmative tone of voice I told her to shut up and pick up the bullet or
the next shot was going to be directed to her head; she obeyed and I felt
powerful.
There’s
nothing more madsculin (because I’m mad) than a man and his Nerf semi-automatic
shotgun!

PS And yes,
little J’s family has moved off the grid. They sit down with an Algonquin tribe
to share stories at night for entertainment. They set up their traps at night so
they can eat next day; they don’t even believe on having the Internet… sad
story.. I think little J’s mom stop shaving; now there's a sight for ya....
