So the weekend is here for North America, Asia should be recovering from Friday night.
What are my plans for the weekend? Well, I think it's about time that we take down the Christmas tree and the Christmas decoration. Sadly I cannot help my wife with it and I understand why those things are still up, she works all day and sometimes night, she doesn't have the energy to bring those things down. Thank God St. Valentine doesn't have all the bells and whistles as Christmas does but I will be getting the weekly reminder from my little daughter, she ain't that little she's taller than her sister, about Valentine's presents and what I'm going to get mommy. Usually I always get them, all 3 of them, Laura Secord's chocolates with a gift that I buy for my wife but my daughters give it to her. Then we move on to Easter and its egg chocolates!
I was seeing TV and I discovered the show that will now be part of my programs list, the show is called "Auction Kings". I started seeing it in the middle of the show but as far as I can get it, it's about a family that owns a shop of antiquities/odd stuff and at the end of the week they have an auction where they sell their stuff. It's fascinating, I have never been to an auction but would love to have the chance to go to one of them, perhaps even sell some of my stuff: my hockey cards collection, my comic books collection, my Fender electric guitar circa 1972, my pre-Columbian pieces... My wife thinks it's junk but then again who is she to criticize my stuff?!? So maybe one day I will sell the stuff, but at this point I don't think they belong to me anymore, my youngest likes the hockey cards collection and my oldest likes my electric guitar, which I have to send to be cleaned since she wants to start playing it. It is a 1972 Fender Mustang Competition mustang stripe and red finish. The Mustang was discontinued in 1982.Check the pic below. In
My little brother came here today to feed me and we discussed his problem with the computer, apparently he reinstalled everything and now everything is working fine. Thank God that Dell sends you a recovery CD with every computer you buy from them, so it didn't take him that long and now all is working and no more WiFi for his kids.
Have an awesome weekend people!
