First of all, USA thank you so much you have viewd over 3000 pages so far and it just keeps on going up and up, also France you are now officially in fourth place viewing pages every day, alors là Bravo!
That being said, did I ever tell you about my winning Halloween costume? Yes well it happened six months after I started to work at Nuance, it was a shocker of a custom and people were talking months, nay years, after it happened.
Back in those days we were known as Locus Dialogue, we hadn't gone through the roller coaster ride of name changing, the HR team to boost morale decided that for Halloween they were going to give the price of $150 dollars to the best costume of the day and it was going to be the employees of the company who decided the winner. I was fairly new at the place and decided that I was going to make a name for myself, be it good or bad, it didn't matter. When the day came I went into the bathroom and changed into my outfit, came back and sat down behind my desk. Then my supervisor came in and asked me if I was wearing a costume, I said yes and step behind my desk. I think that's the loudest laugh I have ever heard to this day, as the day continued she started to bring people over to see me in my disguise. My costume was so popular that the HR team had to send an e-mail to the company letting them know that they had to vote for three individual customes and not one alone, apparently everybody was sending votes for my costume alone and not the other ones. Needless to say at the end of the day I was awarded the prize which basically consisted of me taking out my family on a $150 dollars eating spree and then the company would pick up the tab. That fall my wife was pregnant with my little one and she had picked up a peculiar craving for a Vietnamese soup called tonkinoiese soup, that fall I drank so much Tonkinoise soup that to this day when my wife offers me the soup I just say no.
But I can talk all day long about it but let the picture say it better.
