Bring it on mother!

Hello!

Say something... Anything... I know you can...

That is what's going inside my head right now, I am changing to the inside of my house I have no inspiration, Friday there's nothing that happens that can inspire me to write something. But I'll try!

Well everybody and their mother knows about my daughters going to Las Vegas now, I basically inform the last person that was out there that didn't know about their trip, their grandmother. Trying to tell my mother something that is going to happen in our lives, this includes my brothers lives too, is always complicated, we're afraid on how she's going to react. Well today was a plus, she basically said "... That's nice..." And then she hung up the phone. But I guess she needed a couple of seconds to think things through because as I was talking with my brother, my call waiting went off. It was her, I'm not going to answer that, I know what this is about! So I let her go to my voicemail and then picked up my message, it was very short and sweet "Carlos, call me please." Holy shit, holy freaking shit! I opened up a can of worms and now I have to face her off, what is she going to tell me? Okay let's get some cojones and speak with the lady after all I'm the father and I'm 43 years old, I can handle this. So I call her back and she basically asked who was going to be taking care of me. I told her that I had already set up everything with my little brother, that she didn't need to worry. She answered very positive to this and hung up the phone. That's it?! Where's the fight?! I guess she changed, she's not the same, she has finally understood that her kids are all grown up now. Wow it took over 20 years to understand this but she came around. So now it's just waiting for the day that my daughters are going to grow up and face me regarding something they're about to do...

This afternoon I'm planning to go over and purchase a mega-keg of beer at the supermarket, I got prepare myself to party for eight days straight...

Take care people!
