The dead surround me

Spring like weather ‘round here!

+5c, snow melting, puddles of water…soon, it’s going to smell like dog poo out there and our transformation into Spring  will be completed! Got to love mother nature….

So as I said last, I found the death cettificate of my great-grandmother AND of my great-grandfather. She was 8 years older than him! She was a house wife and he was a farmer/land owner(?) apparently both of them never got hitched but they had 5 kids together…or at least she had 5 kids…My great-grandmother died of asma, apparently it was the medicine that killed you very slowly; my great-grandfather died of malaria (paludismo) 6 years after she died. Their eldest son signed the death certificate.

That’s all I have to say regarding my genealogy morning…but this is what I do people, I look for the dead…
