Cultural afternoon

Hello!

Well it was a culture afternoon. My brain started to remember old songs I used to hear my Nana hear on the radio and I started wondering if I cound find videos of them in YouTube; I did! Then I started to wonder about this song or that song and once again I found them! I am amazed of the collective memory we have at our finger tips! I was looking for a song that I once heard sang by a girl and after researching the lyrics I found it; I went to YouTube and there it was: Rayando el sol by Ana Gabriela. If you people give me a Don Juan Tequila bottle and you play that song to me, I will surely start crying and thinking about the one that got away: my 3rd grade teacher!

After listening to the song, several 100t of times, I asked my daughter to get my figurines out because I was going to snap photos of them. She immediately started to criticized my picure taking, my misplacement of the figurines, my cell’s phone camera resolution…everything that she could think of! At the end I told her that it was better to have a crappy photo than a crappy photographer (alluring to her last photo séance with the figurines)…she shut the F real fast and took out my figurines….and here they are!
