The Pepsi person

Hello!

Well that did the trick!

When in trouble, reboot reboot reboot! Speech recognition is working fine now and I can tell you about my afternoon.

As I mentioned, I tried to do an acoustic language thingy but it didn't work, so I took a nap for nothing! Then when I woke up I saw that there was nine patches for Windows Vista today, so you know me... I like to keep my Vista up-to-date, so I downloaded and installed the patches. After about half an hour of installation and rebooting, I said to myself: "self, time to blog!". Well fate had other ideas and this wasn't going to be the case. So I posted what I had written down with the keyboard and rebooted the damn machine... On the meantime, there was the sound of two Arab ladies going at each other, at least that's what it sounded like. It wasn't the case, because then I heard a couple of kids join the conversation and they started laughing... so no fight people!

Ummm... something seems to be wrong with the keyboard, it seems a couple of keys are not working properly. Now people think I'm stupid or something but last weekend at the Pozole fest weekend, there was a frozen Pepsi sitting on top of my desk and it suddenly exploded. Now Pepsi got on the wall and on my desk, well the first thing I heard was "it didn't get in the keyboard...". So who do you think I blame for this problem I'm having with the keyboard? That's right, the Pepsi person!  Mind you the keyboard and mouse cost me 40 bucks, so worst-case scenario if the stupid keyboard stops working, I will buy new batteries for it and if it still doesn't work I will chalk it out and buy a new one... but I will not forget how my new and improved keyboard was destroyed by the Pepsi person!

Take care folks!

PS remember that tomorrow I am off during most of the day or until I have Internet access again.Psst, I think Montreal is joining the closing of the downtown core this weekend, but we will do it politely as not to make much waves....we're Canadians after all!
