Hello!
Bath is done!
Yeah the lady came like a Swiss watch, 10:40 she was here ready to give me my bath. I didn't ask her what was wrong this morning, unlike my usual lady, she doesn't talk much. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention to you guys that I am exercising my muscles little by little and that yesterday my mother-in-law, bless her little heart, bought me a couple of dumbbells. Two pounders dumbbells, something that the old Chuck would have laughed at (I used to bench press 330 pounds) but now I actually find them heavy for me. I do seven lifts with each arm and I get tired, now to see the people at the CMR regarding my wheelchair and how I want to be able to exercise my feet and therefore they must change my feet rest so I can do this, of course this will take place next week on the 13 of October.
Tim Horton sent my daughter some forms asking her if she wants to be in a camp that "trains" future leaders. I am all for it except that my daughter has signed up for her school's glee club. Yup, the little shit will be trying out, she has a good voice and has in the past demonstrated that she can dance well, but I don't know if I should force her to the Tim Horton's camp or let her pursue her dreams of singing and dancing. I'll keep you posted on that...
On the meantime I'm still debating the position of the bed. It's rather complicated for the transfers of me to the bed and you know how I was able to transfer myself from the chair to the bed? Well that has to be written off completely, I can no longer transfer myself. So I'll sleep on it tonight and tomorrow I will let the occupational therapists what I think of the new arrangements.
Take care folks!
