Looking at my weekend

Hello!

Good day to you all!

As I said on my post of the weekend it was a beautiful weekend, I had a lovely breakfast with my brothers and cousin and we talked for a couple of hours (on the patio) about my mother and my Nana, this of course while having Salvadoran/Mexican/Jewish breakfast.

2011 T&B

The crew and me

We were talking about how my mother is going to need more permanent care then what she's getting right now. I know we could approach the CLSC for help but believe it or not she needs even more help than that. My mother has always been a very "dictating" person, it has always been her away or no way, so getting somebody from the CLSC is not gonna cut the cake. Granted, when my mother helped or gave her friendship to somebody it was all the way, but when she asked for something it was everything or nothing. But she still my mother and I love her and we must therefore come up with some sort of solution. Tomorrow I will contact the CLSC to see what they can offer, perhaps get a case person (social worker) to look up for solutions with the clinic. All of this was discussed Saturday under blue skies and a sunny morning. I did find it a bit sad that we came to the conclusion that eventually my mother will no longer be there, then I realized that all of us are going the same direction, I even wrote a post in Spanish about how ideologies become obsolete and follow the same way a person is heading... Yes, it's sad.

But I'd don't want to rain on your parade, so I'll blog about something else.

My nephew came with his hair machine and he shave my head off, what a relief! I am now ready for the summer, I'm also including in this post a couple of pictures that my sister-in-law took of the get-together, as I said, it was really really nice, I even got a tan on my face, my arms, my freaking legs! So on my side all the birthdays have gone through we are only missing the one of my wife in August. My little brother has one coming up in June (actually he has two), then is my oldest brother's birthday he is going to be the big 4-7, he's getting old! Then it's all downhill from there, there's 3 in August, 2 in October, 2 in November, let's not talk about December... And the whole freaking circles starts again!

Any hoot, I have an appointment with the CMR tomorrow for a new cushion, my control of the chair is broken, I also want them to change the automatic speed (take the freaking thing out), it's going to be an hour and a half worth of meetings at the CMR. Let's hope the base nice...

Any hoot take care people!
