So little time to talk about me, myself and I

Hello!

No no, I didn't mean to imply I was depressed or sentimental with my last post, I was just sharing with you what happened yesterday night. Today is another day! I got so much to talk to you about today I don't know where to begin, but a good place is the beginning... So here we go!

Yesterday evening I declared the evening to be pizza night! So I called Domino's pizza to order my favorite pizza, Philly steak with barbecue sauce and provolone cheese, uummmmm delicious! So I started asking questions to the guy who answered the phone and he had an attitude problem, he even yelled at me telling me that it was me that was going to eat the pizza not him! Makes me not want to call them again but the pizza is so good what am I to do? I guess I'll just have to swallow my pride and keep on ordering that delicious pizza!

As an eating my pizza my oldest daughter is babbling about the Bible and how some of her friends go to Bible class. I was okay with the Bible part at the beginning but then she started to tell me that people such as Moses lived hundreds of years because they were good people. WTF? My first question was your friends believed this nonsense? Then she said yeah, I flipped! I have nothing against religion, it is your business if you believe the book (for lack of a better word) but don't, really don't, put what I consider nonsense into my child's head!! I respect your beliefs, please respect mine. I used to be a Bible nut myself and a religious freak but I discovered with time, and education, that this book is a compilation of many books and they were written by men and not by God, on whom I believe. My daughter's friends don't even believe in the dinosaurs or in evolution for that matter, they think that dinosaurs are a lie and that Charles Darwin was a fruit cake! I don't even want to ask about men walking on the moon

On to some good news!

I am finally at the top of the list when it comes to modifications to my place so that I can go outside whenever I want. The CLSC is coming to visit me next week to speak with me regarding the government grant that will allow me to make modifications so that my domus becomes better suited for me. And finally, when the CLSC comes here they will be looking at my leg because I might need a special device so it doesn't hurt that much.

Ouf.... thank God that's off my chest!

Take care folks!
