I have a habit to wait for my daughters near the patio door when they are coming back from school to greet them and ask how was their day today was no exception.
My youngest came at 4:00 PM and dada was there waiting for her with a smile and the usual questions on how her day had been and if she had fun at school. She always answers with a smile and answers yes.
After that at 4:30 PM my oldest daughter is walking with another teenage girl by her side and I greet her and asked her how her day had been, it was a good day she said. I then followed by a question about the girl who was walking along side of her, I asked her if she was her friend. She answered yes, so the logical question follows: "What's her name?"
To this question my answered let out a yell: "I don't know daddy!!" what?? So she's not your friend I said. She tells me she is, that they hang around at school but that she had only heard her name once. Now she's too ashame to ask her name, the school year is almost over. I told her that maybe the girl didn't know her name, my daughter answered that she did. At the end my daughter is thinking of ways to get the girls name....good luck with that baby!
Man this is a story right out Seinfield!!!
Salutations humans!
