Weather and dumb kids

Hello!

How are we this morning/afternoon?

Water? Checked! Apples? Checked! Inspiration? So-so!

So I left it up last night that I was going to be talking about the weather, apparently we were going to be having the first snow storm of the season. They had predicted, and when I say "they" I mean the weather channel, 20 cm of snow for Sunday and between 10 to 15 cm for Monday. My girls were static obviously, this was going to be it finally, the schools were going to close for sure. Well... Not so fast sparky! This morning I checked the weather channel website and those numbers had changed, it wasn't going to be that storm that was been anticipated but rather another normal winter day. They are now predicting 1 to 3 cm of snow for Sunday and less than 10 cm for Monday, hardly something to close the schools! But the weather channel batting average is not that great, sometimes, like last week, they predict something and we get double that! Last week they were aiming for 10 cm we got 15 to 25 cm of snow. So my girls should keep their hopes high.

On a more personal note, my oldest daughter is making fun of me in her Facebook page. Last night she showed me a picture of her friend in her cell phone, a very normal cell phone it's only made for texting and calling, but old dad here wanted to make the image bigger. So what did it do? I started using my fingers as if it was an iPhone or an iPod touch to make it bigger and it wasn't working, I got frustrated and started to slap the phone around saying that her phone was broken. Very quietly she told me: "daddy, you know this is not an iPod? It's a normal cell phone." I then realized that I wasn't using my iPod touch, what did the dumb kids do after that? She went to her Facebook webpage where she mentioned the incident to her friends, I commented that Santa was surely going to be giving the finger to her for Christmas!

Dumb kids...

Another week done, enjoy the weekend people!
