Hello!
So Korea will be reaching 2011 pretty soon now as for the rest of us will just have to wait a bit longer.
Surprise surprise surprise! My oldest daughter said today that for New Year's she would like to have season one and two of lost! I called her over and told her "dear, for New Year's eve there is no such thing as a present." She was baffled, she asked why the kids in Mexico are going to be getting presents on January 6, I told her because that was the belief in Mexico, that the kids over there didn't get presents for Christmas. She then started to debate the absence of presents for New Year's in Canada as well as in Mexico. She made some valid points but at the end there was only one point that made the difference: "look dear, I think Santa has enough on his plate to also start giving presents on New Year's eve. I think that for that time, no I don't think, I know that for the time Santa is always broke." I think that drew the point home because she stopped asking questions.
On another note today, my wife will be working in the morning and then rushing back home to prepare the house, get me ready, visit my mother with the girls and go to her dinner party with her family, about an hour away from here, to celebrate New Year's eve. All of these things happening after she passed by the supermarket to buy food for the next following days, January 1st is a legal holiday in Québec and therefore anything and everything is close. Isn't she superwoman? That's why merried her.
Well happy new years to you and yours, maybe next year be better than this one!
Thanks for listening!
