Warming up to the Independence

Hello!

Good weekend all…

In a couple of hours I will be attending my niece’s bday bash; handing in long overdue birthday gifts that I have omitted to give off due to my lack of presence or funds… time to pay the piper my friends. Mind you, I am not too trill to go because of the crappy weather and the fall like temperatures; and the guy said it was going to be sunny today… what an a_hole!

Tomorrow is independence day for El Salvador and Mexico celebrates “El Grito” at midnight…dam copy cats, we got independencize first.. I know, not a real word, but fck it, my blog my rules….  So we are having, you guessed it: Pozole!... and probably tacos or some other tortilla dish. Oh, we are also having crème brulée for desert, I know not a Mexican dish but let them have it; it’s like Italians believing that the Cesar salad comes from their country seeing that it was originally prepared for Julius Cesar… it’s actually a Mexican dish prepared by Cesar Chavez a famous boxer; actually, no, I don’t know who it was prepared for or by whom but it is a Mexican invention… so thank you Mexico…

Take care folks and happy weekend…
