Hello!
Like I was saying, it was a super duper summer for me. I
will quickly bypass the first months until the beginning of August… I think,
not sure…
The “J” months were okay, nothing really to shout about.
They were hot, humid and I wondered off a couple of times outside. This
included the Six Flag Park, La Ronde, and its fireworks competition;I went to
the closing ceremony were they announce the big winner and paid homage to the
rock band “U2”. I came back home at 3AM…..brrr… there was a problem with the
re-opening of the bridge that night and I had to tuff it up….. This made me
realized that it was time for me to get a car so that I may move at my own free
will… and I did! Kinda, sorta, maybe…. I don’t know…
You see I had found a car that was already adapted and it
only had 19k on it. A STEAL! Well, the dealer wouldn't sell it to me
because they had found out it had a bad transmission….pout… But they would sell
me a Nissan Quest that I could adapt! Plus the adaptation would be paid off by the
government, cool! So I called my occupational therapist with the good news…
Well, I thought it was good news but it wasn't. She came out with her “minute
là, c’est pas comme ça que ça’s passe!”… ???... Apparently I had to see a
specialist who was going to dictate what car would fit my living condition.
This is the only way the government would pick up the tab… The delay would be anywhere between eleven months to a year before I could get a car……
So in a nutshell, it was good because I cancel the purchase
of a car (Nissan Quest) that would have been useless to me; the bad thing is that a salesman
can sell me anything to me… and he did.. We traded in the Mazda for a Nissan….Maxima
2013 fully equipped; minus the navigation package. A car that I will never drive, never get in….. so we’re back to square one; I am waiting for something and it will take some time….
More
pouting on my part…
Any hoot… I never liked the “J” months… but it got better…
