Habemus Fraudens

Hello!

Happy happy folks…

So I saw the papal election yesterday and was somewhat impressed by it. A foreign pope elected, nice real nice; a Latin American cardinal, yay for the Latin American crowd, happy to hear that.. An Argentinian priest is at the helm of 1.2 billion Catholics…. Whoa, wait a sec!.. Right now it is all brotherly love and everything, but have you people really thought of the implications this event has? The freaking Argentinian don’t only have some of the best soccer players out there, Messi, Maradona, but now have a Pope who has a direct line to the almighty; these guys are going to win next Mundial; we are f@cked!!

This is not fair, they should have elected Mgr Ouellete from Quebec… we got no hopes or aspirations in soccer! Worst case scenario, Quebec city would have probably gotten their hockey team back.  I think that choosing a Pope from a soccer power house is totally unfair as it links that country’s team directly to God….

Take care folks…

PS For the atheist brothers out there….it’s like an extra good luck charm that the Argentinians now have…. It stinks….
