It was missing curry...

Hello!

Happy Monday!.... I know, nothing happy about Mondays, right? Well, deal with it!

Not up to standards
So last night was the finale of TWD and it was a letdown to me since I was expecting the worst…

big freaking spoiler alert here for those who have not seen the episode yet….

Nobody of the original crew got killed!! I know, this is good but to me it was unexpected since the actors have been letting us to believe that somebody important was going to get mauled over by the walkers. Darryl said to get the Kleenex ready because it was going to be intense. Glen was reminiscence about how the character had gone from its noble beginnings as a pizza delivery guy to being a leader now (And wtf with that “I love you moment” with Maggie?!). Obviously, theories started popping up left and right on who was going to die; my money was on Glen and my kid had Rick’s kids. My wife had Scarole with the priest; I cannot lie that I did visited the idea that Rick was the next walking corpse but I immediately gain composure of myself. At the end Pete, the husband of Rick’s desires, was shot by Rick leaving the door open, wide open may I add, for a promiscuous love affair between Rick and the flavour of the month… don’t get me wrong, I too would shoot my better half to saunter among the lilies….that’s right, I’m a freaking poet….

Take care folks…7

Losing my BFF

Hello!

…And what the hell people, what…the…hell!

J
ust months ago Target Canada close its stores across the great white north; and now I just found out that Future shop is closing its stores too! That or they are being converted to Best Buy….What is wrong with us, why doesn't anybody like us? Where will we buy our electronic gadgets? I think Canada is slowly becoming a third world country… I really don’t like this….You know the funny part, Best buy owns Future shop’s ass, so buying at either place is the same really, but it’s still a shocker…

Any hoot, see you in my dreams..

Some people should be shot....

Hello!

Happy Tuesday folks….

The mother of all trees
So, my bath person was late today, apparently she had an issue with her tire rim this morning and seeing she never had given me a bath before she was lost. O boo freakin hoo! Shut up and give me my bath you inferior human…. That`s what I should have said according to my better half beliefs of me on how I treat people; I`m an ogre according to her. Mexicans, who the bleep gets them!

Any hoot, the lady that came was humming Christmas carols throughout my whole bath…Jingle bells, Silent night and little drummer boy! I asked her if she was in a holiday mood and she replied `Yes`; that there were only 39 weeks and odd days until Christmas! WTF!? We haven’t even gotten a decent spring day and this nutzoid is wishing for Christmas!? Well she finished given me a bath but left a little reminder so I wouldn't forget her: Jingle bells playing in my head, nonstop!!

Merry Christmas foplks... Pre-emptive strike is always the best.........

Let the light shine through.....

Hello!

Good day to you all…

So, off I went to purchase a clamp lamp to put on my desk so I could see well. Makes the world of difference if you ask me, I can see the letters on the keyboard thus making it easier for me to blog! I think that this was causing me to stop babbling about my everyday routine; this and the fact that I am losing my vision and it might be MS related, because the ophthalmologist didn’t find anything with the eyes. I still need to go and see the optometrist and get my vision check; I know I am going to procrastinate this since with a little added light I can see shit and a half!

I got a new add for Kijiji for some decorative knickknacks. Let’s see how fast these things will stay… because the hockey card will probably be sold at a sport place that seem to be quite interested on sealed Ogeechee cards from 1991-19992….SCORE!

Any hoot, got to find the pricing on them….

Take care people….

PS It's freaking cold out there...

Go big or go home...

Hello!

…And yes, I’m watching “Empire” bitches…Thus the title.

We hardly knew you
Look at me all exited like a teenage girl at a Justin B’s concert. I just sold my first product through the Internet. I got the idea from the Chavez-Houdon clan who have made their fortune selling body parts through Kijiji (a local selling and buying hub -Ebay type of shit-). Also I got the idea from a TV show where these guys buy and sell “junk” for a profit. So cue my wife and her connections who keep on giving her miscellaneous stuff that usually hit the garbage container. Guess what? One of those worthless pieces of shiza just netted my wife and me $50 bucks. We sold an old home theater system that my wife’s customer didn't want anymore because it clashed with her new Italian sofas…. Now I got 2 more things that are still selling (The Doors 4 cd box set and 1991-1992 sealed OPC hockey cards) and I’m about to hit a third thing…So it has become my new hobby: hit he thrift stores and re-sell re-sell re-sell…

Guess I’ll put up the kids and pet up for a basement bargain sale….

Take care folks….

It's better to burn out....

Hello!

Good to see you folks… hope all is well.

The title of this post? Well if you’re a lover of the movie “Highlander” you will surely remember the famous phrase said by the bad guy of the movie: “It’s better to burn out than to fade away.” And those words lead my reflection of today…

Folks, dealing with an elderly person (my mom) who is not physically “ill” but whose mental abilities are definitely leaving her body makes me wonder if I wouldn’t rather die in some sort of accident or some other fast dispatching way. I know, I know “not your freaking life, God decides when it’s time to..blah blah blah..” save your speech you pro-life party poopers… I now believe that once the head is gone, the person you knew and love so much is dead. I know it sounds rude but it is true.

I will instruct my current wife (cause you never know) and older kid that if I ever go looney tunes, they should try to dump me in a mental institution where my dreams of Bonaparte won’t hinder anyone. There is also the doctor assisted suicide option; it is being debated here in Canada. So I could probably get that too….I don’t know, I could write much about this subject but I rather keep it short as not to ruffle the feathers of some fanatic lumberjack who will do me a solid and dispatch me to the other side just because I want to have the right to decide my ending.

Any hoot…

Live long and party hard…

PS I also remember “It’s better to look good than to feel good..” or “We’ll always have Paris” or “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn” or “Woman, behold your son”… I’m a walking talking chatter box of memorabilia….

On the road again...

Hello!

March Thursday March 12th today on in the news: Freedom at last!

Yup, I was able to take a short stroll through the hood today. Snow is slowly but surely melting away. It’s going to be an epic spring followed by whining and bitching on how freaking hot and humid it is outside and how winter is much better just to do the same shit regarding winter and its coldness. But at least I am mobile again so, yaaaay….

So yesterday I had to cancel, sorry block –there is a 45 minute wait time on the phone if you don’t use the proper term (stupid customer service)-, my data package on my 4 lines because they had reached their limit…. The culprit of course was my wife. She’s the one who wanted kids in the first place, I was going for a fish or an ant farm; you know, something practical. It seems that my oldest and “wisest” is gungho about TV streaming… so she used 7Gb out our 12Gb package.  Can’t wait till they have kids…..

So long folks…

After the final rose: I need a life

Hello!

Happy Tuesday to you all…

So it’s 7:14 AM and I’m already pooped out of my skull. It was a long night. I had to sit through 3 hours of drama last night: Bachelor Finale you all!! It was a no-brainer….

In one hand you had this bubbly blonde who was ready to move to a town where everyone is cousin (that how small it is) and was ready to be a baby factory… and the other lady was an on the hook girl: she didn't love him….yet…but saw herself falling in love with him and could potentially move to such a small town, nay neighborhood, from Daytona California. She had quantum written all over her…  It was a no-brainer and the obvious choice one: Bubble head queen… Good for her! I have a good feeling about these two, I think it could work.

But they also reveal the Bachelorette for next season; actually there will be two. One of them is a fellow hoser who will compete for the hearts of  25 guys who are looking for love in all the wrong places…I don’t see this show as men don’t drama too much compare to gals…sooo good luck to her and the other gal…

Thus my why I have this poopness this morning….oh and BTW, Jimmy Kimmel had a cow last night too, soooo I’m kinda dead today..

Take care folks…

International break the bank day

Hello!

Happy international women’s day!

So my girl and posse have heeded to look for a perfect prom dress…Yup a posse!

My oldest is finishing HS this year and is doing the prom thing. To “help” her choose a dress we got (in order of fossil age) the grandma, the friend of the mom, the mom, the daughter of the friend of the mom, the sister and the prom girl)…The friend of my kid didn't go as she probably fell asleep since we advance the hour today; so 11AM is now 12PM.

I remember my prom, I had a suit made for the occasion and it was probably $300 smackers. But this one has a budget of $900 loonies for the dress. What the hell!? Not only does she need the opinion of 5 people but she is literally breaking the bank….

So much for drastic cut backs to the system..

Take care folks!

PS I understand the sister and the other kid but the mom, the friend of the mom and the grandma?! Is she going retro?!

A sad moment in time...

Hello!

Happy weekend people!

It appears we have reached an impasse in our lives. I am camp kill Carl while she is Carl suicides camp….

Let me explain.

Poor Carl...
Our family is a diehard The Walking Dead family and I told my oldest, with whom I share a passion for discussing TV show endings, that one of the main characters in that show claims that the season finale was going to be a tearjerker. Obviously we debated for hours what would be the saddest moment that would make us cry. She claimed that Carl(son of the hero) getting trapped in a multitude of zombies with 1 bullet in his gun and him using it to kill the baby sister then getting eaten by zombies would be the way to go.  I told her that she was freaking nuts that the hero of the show killing his own son, Carl, because he had been bitten would be the way to go. We are now waiting for March 29th to see the result…

All bets are on….

Noodle boy...

Hello!

Hope everything is going well with you.

I am writing today because I would like to vent my frustration with the food from Meals on Wheels.

They been lagging behind lately and I don't like it. Sometimes I've been getting my food at 2:20PM in the afternoon and I am getting repeats quite often. Usually from a lady who’s son-in-law is Salvadorian. I will get the same dish over and over again. Stuffed freaking Green peppers, I hate that! I didn't like it when I was a kid and I don't like them now. Should I tell her that it's not one of my favorite dishes? Should I just ignore it and have something else instead? I don't know, but I know that right now I'm going to pass it on to my daughter and ask her to cook me some Chinese noodles. Ever since I saw someone eat them in The Amazing Race I've been dying for some. What are they called again? Rahman, rastaman, ramen? All I know is that I saw my daughter eat some so I want to eat some too.

Any hoot, have a great day people!

Stuck in a moment

Hello!

How are you all doing?

So I want to talk to you today about something that is really freaking me out. Not only me, my kids too. I'm talking about ghosts.

About a couple of months ago I told my daughter that I felt the presence of a cat ghost! , Don't laugh; I think we really do have a cat ghost. We're calling it Benji, we believe it’s the spirit of a stray cat that we wanted to take in but my wife didn't. I know what you're thinking: "that bitch!", and to that I made add "I know right?" But that's an old story now (RIP Benji).

Now let me tell you about my outing yesterday. It was awful!

Yesterday we decided to go see a film, do the restaurant scene and go buy some stuff at one of our favorite stores: "Winners". We went to see the movie with Will Smith; I do give it three stars as it kept me entertained, the food was the glorious Chinese Fu Lam and at Winners we bought some items including my superman glass which I will now use to drink my cold beverages. But the story of the trip was getting stuck in the snow and the number of persons required to take me out of the white problem. It took 3 people to get me to the bus and to comeback in I require the assistance of 3 adult persons and my kid! All I’m saying is that I will no longer try to go out until spring time. I even had to cancel my appointment with the doctor today; no way am I going out there.

And that's my life people, are you the pricing, hey?
