Hello!
Well no, there isn’t a part of the dvd that I could use to
promote my country, El Salvador. I did find some YouTube video that makes
justice of what is all about. The link is here… now I guess it is one of those times were things come together for a reason without any planning… You see tomorrow
is a special day that I will be celebrating in the privacy of myself, as I alone
remember this tomorrow…. And today my meals on wheels guy brought me a dish
typically eaten in my country, “Chile relleno” (stuffed green pepper); and I know
it is made by a Salvadorian lady who cooks for meals on wheels and when she
sent this dish out she knows that she was reaching out to me another Salvadorian…and I guess she’s proud and wants me to be proud of my culture too, but…and this is
a big BUT, humongous really, I DON’T, LIKE, THE FREAKING DISH!!! I didn’t like it
when my nana did it for me when I was a kid and I don’t like it now!!! So Salvadorian lady, please,
pretty please with sugar on it, STOP, MAKING, THIS FREAKING DISH!!!!... Did I eat
it?!....Of course I did, I had no backup plan; and besides, beggars can’t be
choosy… thanks a million meals on wheels…
Take care folks!
PS A happy bday to the young Parisian speech therapist from
the CMR (this is for tomorrow)..
