How is your last weekend of the year going?

On my side my wife has gone to prepare a turkey at one of her a friend/customer, this lady knows how to cook my friends!  She’s also making a Viennese roll for dessert, can’t wait to pig out tomorrow…

Well there isn't much that I could talk about, the sidewalks are screwed up and I can’t see anything from my patio door…  So I decided to take this quite time that I found and wish you all a very happy new year, filled with joy, health and mucho money…  For those who need it like me…  Let us hope that 2013 will bring us a new end of the world…

How are we today?

Yeah well, we did beat a record with the snowstorm we had yesterday, almost 46 cm of snow.  This morning we started to clean this mess up, they wanted us to move our car so that the machines could clear the space in the parking lot.  The good news was that there was no fatality whatsoever, I’m still confused on how is it that when a storm hits south of the border there is always one.  This time I heard there was seven souls lost and they were blaming the storm…  The one thing that I did saw on Tweeter that I have never seen in all my 36 years of wintertime was a bus being pushed by its passengers…  And to hell with speech recognition today, my girls are upstairs playing with their games and the oldest one has taking to walk with her new shoes up and down the freaking apartment…  They’re high heel shoes folks, she has a problem with being shorter than her little sister, so Santa brought her high heeled boots and shoes…  It still doesn't cut the mustard, at best she reaches 5 foot 6 and her sister is hitting the 5 foot 10 mark…  She taller than my wife now…

Folks, some people say that “you know you’re old” when all your heroes start going to jail for some reason or another…Carlton Fisk…wow, I used to revere this guy and I found out today that he was arrested… but me, old? Nah… com’on Lindsay Lohan has gone to jail already and she hasn't even hit 30! I think the issue is that my heroes want to be young again and this is the fastest way to do it… Get arrested!....I have to get new heroes….

Yes it’s still snowing and we are very close to calling this storm “The storm of the century”… scary shit!.. I really don’t think I can go outside and stroll to the shopping center…And it’s been an all day of Teenage Moms 2, this is the price to pay for having my kids and wife stay home…..once again a little Yay!....Well tomorrow is another day….We will wake up to news of the storm and how bad it was, oh well…

Snowmageddon 2012

Good day to you all….

Well we finally got that snowstorm they have been announcing over and over again.. Now we really have one, we are expecting bout 30cm; heck my wife canceled 1 cleanning already. From where I am sitting, the outdoors look like the next ice age, but I have seen pictures where it doesn’t look that bad. Plus my brother is at work and claims that it isn’t that bad out there… but the nurse that came this morning sum it up beautifully when she said: “…If you don’t have to be out, don’t”…

Scratch all of the above… No yes, there’s still a snow storm happening and my wife did canceled all her customers….little Yay!.... My meals on wheels has been canceled,  my bath guy had a call in the middle of my bath to tell him to cancel the remainder of his shift… it is, apparently, bad out there… I am almost certain that my wife will cancel her Turkish coffee session with her friend…. Funny story, she won’t get her daily reading; yeah after drinking her coffee my wife’s friend reads the coffee left over in her cup and tells my wife the scoop… last time she rushed home because I was having an affair…okay no, but it’s bound to happen…any hoot, I did this post manually hope you didn't notice a difference….

To speak or not to speak...

So I had a small discussion with my bath lady this morning, it all had to do with speech recognition and how I should keep on using my hands to type on the keyboard.  She said that if I don’t use them I will lose the usage of them.  I told her that I knew this, but that my hands were slowly starting to go that way on their own; and right now I am using a combination of hands and speech recognition to post my blog.  Soon I won’t be able to give you the finger…  But speech REC still way off than using my hands…  Right now I had my little one laughing at me for not pronouncing properly the words…  So I’m a freaking immigrant, so sue me…  Smart ass!

So this New Year’s Eve it’s going to be a quite one, not like the Christmas eve when a bottle of Patron was sacrificed for the good of mankind…  It was water people, just plain water no effect whatsoever!  Maybe I will go out and buy something that could give me a buzz…  Then again, they are announcing a 20 cm snowstorm for tomorrow…  I think I won’t be able to go out for a while…

I hope your Christmas was as good as mine.

So here I am enjoying my new toy, it’s not the speech recognition software that I wanted but it is the closest thing I could get, a new headset…  My girls are upstairs playing their games and my wife, well…  She still hasn't gotten her gift yet, who knows if she’s ever going to cash it in.  My oldest daughter has been waking me up every day with her incessant thumping with her new shoes.  She’s trying to gain height artificially…  She’s only 5 foot 4 in and she would like to be as tall as her sister, who's about 5 foot 10.  I told her that for that type of increase in height she would need platform shoes like the one that Gene Simmons wears when he sings with Kiss…  I hope she gets at least two more inches in her life otherwise she will be traumatized…

And that’s how my holidays have been so far, not exactly great but, not bad either…

Here I am blogging and preparing for the big day of gift giving to my kids, my nieces and nephews were all taken care of yesterday…. 40 bucks a pop, that’s like a gazillion dollars in presents… At least they can buy whatever $40 smackers get you these days… They don’t smoke or drink and I think that sexual encounters with good quality pro are more than that… so Itune cards for everyone I guess…Hey already know what I am getting and blogging will be a breeze again….thank God, my hands were taking a beating…. Well another Xmas celebration down the hatch!.... not happening folks, mother nature has done it again! It is snowing, it is windy, roads are slippery and my eldest, whom I thought was doing better, is DOA with a fever… really?! I am cocooned for the remainder of the year… and who am I pissed at? Myself! I think that I have gone from the men’s camp into somewhere between a kid and a chicken shit… I think that I don’t trust people and this makes me a big chicken shit moron… I mean who’s to say that the driver of the bus won’t fall asleep like last time or that the guy driving the car on the opposite side of the road won’t lose control and smash himself against helpless little me? Worst, what if there’s a fire inside the bus and the driver has lost consciousness and we both go up a a little bit extra crispy?...no, I cannot afford dying before my time, I have people to take care of, places to see, posts to write…and, and…. I’m just a big coward that does’t want to take chances in life….anymore...

Good day to you all….. and happy holydays…

So all my girls are gone, but as of next week I will have my kids for their Xmas break…. So my computer will be used for World of Warcraft… hey at least I broke the70k pageviews before the end of the year… thank you all….

So tomorrow I an off to Point Saint-Claire, another boony city of Montreal…Got a Xmas get together with my brothers; my wife is making a cake and all the other girls are doing their part…and a funny thing just happened to me. I got some insurance papers to be filled by my doctor and me. Now usually my doctor’s part is filled by my neurologist but my appointment is until February 5^th… I think he’s pissed off at me because I don’t go there often enough, so he wanted me to be punished in some odd way… but the insurance told me that my GP could fill up the papers…. And I just got a call from my insurance person and she said she got the papers and I was okay to receive my benefits for the next year… so I don’t  know if to cancel my neurotic’s appointment or not….the dam hospital, the Montreal Neurological Hospital, sits in a 45 degree hill!! Who’s bright idea was it to put a place for people that can’t walk in a godforsaken place like that?!... I already broke my chair twice while trying to go there so maybe in summer I’ll pay him a visit… we’ll see….

So yeah, I wondered outside prior to the gigantic mega storm heading our way.. I went to get my lottery tickets…that’s right there is an “s” in there….it will be my last lottery I will ever played, I am done for good…plus going out there isn’t really for me anymore; it is brutal, but this chair has a very powerful motor…. Them snow banks were nothing, for a sec there I thought I was stuck but this baby’s reverse laughed at the situation and brought me home….so goodbye potential winnins, I am now a mortal with a very powerful wheelchair…

Good day before the end of the world day…. Shit!... I have to call my cousin and say goodbye….

So any hoot, last night I was seeing the X-Factor when I caught a glimpse of a wobble by Leann Rimes; was she drunk, drug or was she having a stroke?....Seriously, I am not a paparazzi or a celebrity news guy, but when you have a 13 year old singing besides what seem to me a woman that seems tanked, I pay attention!... Even my 14 year old looked at the sudden drunk move and impaired remarks as a woman with too much alcohol in her system…And it’s true, the professional singer way of talking was weird….even TMZ had an article about the whole “unstable” affair….just saying stuff here folks…. It was awkward….

Sh*t happens...everywhere

It’s weird having someone with you while you try to do your shit…my kid has be hogging my bed all day long!... I got nothing against her, but I like to be quietly thinking about my next move and this one is a chatter box, even if she’s sick!! Maybe I should tell her that it is recommended that people with the flu shut the fuck up, to keep their voice you know?.... Maybe I’ll send her to school tomorrow, let them deal with old motor mouth here…. Fak that!... I don’t need this aggravation; I’m a bitter old man… sick I might add…Plus I get all this people calling me to see what can be done to make my life better!!....now my modifications of my place are being reviewed and I am getting my old occupational therapist back, so my life is slowly turning to shambles as I write….ello!HI need a Valium folks….

Today, at this moment, I have woken up with a vet negative outlook in life… very negative thoughts run through my veins this morning, I want to kill everyone and their mother, I have to breath because I have no control over it. Maybe is just the crappy weather we’re having, maybe it’s something I hate or didn't eat…I feel I’m sleeping with the enemy and the worst part is that I sleep alone…

So this morning my daughters have trade places, the sick one is back in school and the healthy one is now sick… I wonder why parents don’t get sick?... my wife and I have gone through this sick cycle almost untouched… the wife did get sick for a while but she had to go on as she’s the only one that makes things happen around here (Physically)…. Any hoot, back to my morose state of mind… maybe I’ll kill the bath lady or just give her a real bad look to make her feel crapy….

Another day, another week! Seven days more till Christmas eve, four days ill the end of the world; I wonder what other fictitious date are humans going to choose to replace this one as the end of the world… maybe we should consult the Jehovah on this, they got experience: 1897, 1918, 1922, 1925….Chill, I don’t have a beef against any religious belief, just stop knocking at my door please… Let me make my own decision and go to hell without remorse…

So this week is going to be a wintery one in this region. I already raised the flag with my brothers that are organizing a shindig this Saturday to celebrate the holidays; they are announcing about a foot of snow for Friday… so wheelchair transportation might be a problem….bet the Jehovah didn’t see this coming….

I just came back from the great outdoors and boy was it chilly…I think my birthday list is going to include a ski mask, heavy duty gloves  , scarfs and a pair of boots…. It is cold out there, plus I’m a bit on the “F_YOU society” after my outing….

You see I was going down an alley and I saw another person coming opposite to me, enough place for us to pass side by side…no problem, plus there’s a nice giant snow ball in front of me that I am going to crush to smithereens ….cool!!... As I thought that the other person ran towards the snow ball and pushed it away from my path…NOooo!.. Why??... I had it in my sight; the snow ball didn't stand a chance… That dumb person took the fun out of my stroll, I felt the snow ball crush and now thanks to that nincompoop all I can do is imagine it…but I can always make up for it, I hear all this week is going to be snowing and next Friday we are getting anywhere from 20 to 25cm… that’s like 12” inches of snow…yeah baby!!... here comes Santa Claus…

So yeah, a very somber moment here at my household yesterday… this is the reason why I stopped seeing the news, stupid people… 27 people massacred by a deranged fruit cake?! How do I explain this to my kids? They were seeing the TV with me yesterday and they could not believe what was happening. It was a disaster and all they wanted to make sure was that this wouldn’t happen to them; I told them, lying through my teeth, that this was something that was not going to happen here…. I swear, people like this should be allowed to suicide and to let our kids go on with their lives… Why kill innocent children, anywhere on this freaking world?... and to top it all off, a rapist is running amok near the school of my oldest and she found out about it!! What do I tell her?!....all I can do is pray for them, pray for all the children in the world…I feel powerless against fruit cakes like yeterday’s one…sigh…

Let’s talk about this world not being wheelchair friendly….

Funny but true

Yesterday I went to the bank, yeah me and my millions, it was an okay outing, my brother took me out early so I decided to go and buy some lame thing at the store before my bus came…. Well what I want and what society gives you is two different things.. They haven’t clean the snow at specific points that all disable people use: AKA the freaking side walk corners that allow wheelchair to access the sidewalk…okay, I fail to mention that by 4:xx IT’S DARK ALREADY!! Vision is cut by half, so stepping out in the dark is like “Extreme wheelchairing” and I want to be around for a while. So the combination of Mother Nature and mankind made it impossible to wonder and buy stuff…. Its okay, I’ll do it tomorrow I said to myself…boy was I wrong…

I went out today and the cleaning issue persist, but there is light to help bypass the issue… so to the pharmacy I go… Man, getting into that place and maneuvering inside is freaking impossible…Xmas shit has popped left and right, it seems that they are doing the minimum to obey the law that requires them to provide access to good looking people like me…It was a horrible experience… Unlike my pharmacy (where I buy my drugs) the local one is pupu caca and I think that I will be going there (my pharmacy) more often… at least the grocery shopping can still be done in some sort of comfort… somebody should complain about this….

Well, it’s settle. We as a family need some sort of intervention. It appears that gambling runs in our blood and that nothing is safe from a friendly bet… I’m talking we bet on anything: from my hitting the lottery one day, to how will my sick kid’s day is going to be, to wondering the value of one of my wife’s bonus Xmas gift is!... you see a customer from my wife gave her a gift certificate (store card) but fail to indicate the value of the card… these people are very happy with my wife’s work, so I told her that the value was over $100 dollars, she claims it is under… so we made a bet: if it’s 100+ the card is mine and if not I will pay her the value of the card….Oh yeah, we also have odds for my swimming kid’s next meet… she’s 3^rd and below… Any takers?....

From Vegas with love...

Good day…

Well, it is a sick day for my kid that went to Vegas; she has a fever and a sore throat…. And this time I know who to blame! It was my wife’s Vegas/Califas/Mexican family….more precisely? It was my wife Mexican’s husband’s brother’s maid that had a cold and Jesus got it and now I got a kid with a 150 degrees fever…well she made it sound like a 150c fever…but it was a 38.5c, good enough to keep her home….

So, I think my hands are shutting down and it is getting to be an urgency that I buy that speech rec software soon… or silence my blog for ever and end it all… but I can’t do that, I got a big mouth and an active mind… so much shit I still have to say like… okay, writer block there, but I can still say stuff that could make your skin crawl…like the one long hair on the nipple girl… did that get your attention?.... well it got mine… maybe one day I’ll write about it and see if you guys have the same twisted humor my wife has… she peed her pants off when I told her the story….okay, making no sense here, better go now…

Defective cellphone camera

So yeah, this new phone sucks eggs in a good way…Fuck the Iphone V, this apparatus kicks ass!! Yesterday twinkling around with it, I discovered I can turn it into a web cam…. AND I DID!!!... I was able to see what the camera was filming on my computer screen…. Then my wife, bless her little hearth, had the brilliant idea of sending my daughter upstairs so I could finally get a fleeting glimpse of what the upstairs looks like… I am not going to lie, I was emotional; this was my forbidden zone that I was never going to see in a millions years…My Kapu....

So my kid went up the stairs slowly but surely…it was like mission control when they send a rover to Mars, they are waiting with anticipation the images from this glorious place… and then it happened: “ABORT!”…. Jesus Christ! And I am not talking about the cousin of my wife here,  I am talking about the head honcho…. WTF GUYS!? Do you (actually they) ever clean upstairs?? I’m talking hoarder's mess here; I do believe I saw some undies near that big thing that looked like a rat. .. It was (is) chaos upstairs folks; now I understand why some things are better left alone… technology is not the solution here, praying to the almighty so that he can send someone here to clean is. And he better do it mfast before they make the downstairs of the house look like upstairs….

A big welcome to you all…

Hey! First I like to say “thank you” to all my Califas/Nevada/Mexico people who read my blog, even if after they go like: “Que dice?”…also I like to thank my mother-in-la for having taking care of my girl and I, now that she’s gone things are starting to come out little by little… there’s no explanation as to why she does it, but things are being done by her that make no sense to the normal human… I know, “WTF am I talking about?” right…. Well one of the things that my wife asked me this morning, as if I would know, was if I knew the reason for her mom having halved her cleaning cloths… “AAAAH!”. I said, “I kinda get it know” I mumble it loud enough for my Tootie patooty to hear…. Obviously it had to come out…I told my wife that every morning for breakfast I was getting half a napkin instead of my usual full napkin… The napkin is in itself part of my OCD life that runs through my family’s blood according to my mom and my nana….. Why was I only given half a napkin?? Why was my wife’s cloths ripped in half?... I don’t know what is inside her (mother-in-law) head; maybe she went through rationing when she was a kid… who knows, but this is the first of what I’m sure are many stories that are going to be coming out little by little…and in her defence, she did bring lots of innovations to the house: The Ciabatta bread grilled cheese…..Triangular may I add…

Yup, it started last Friday when we had a “Torta Mexicana” which consisted in cheese, breaded meat (Milanesa), beans, avocado and salsa…on a Ciabatta bread…triangular… to this fine dish was added the Sunday breakfast which was breaded meat (Milanesa), beans, avocado, cheese and salsa…it’s the order that makes the difference here! It’s not the same to hear “fuck you” than to hear “You fuck”…. One will bring out a negative response while the other one might even bring out a “Thanks”…it’s the freaking order… but the story here is that grilled cheese was never going to be the same…. Triangular Ciabatta bread rules!!....And so this morning I requested this fine dish for breakfast… now if I could only get half a napkin with that….

Sorry for the delay, I was debriefing the people from the Vegas trip… I was only able to get a tequila bottle (Patron) and a Puma t-shirt…my daughter got several things from her favorite group (UGH! Gag me with a spoon): One Direction…Apparently they had fun and now my youngest wants a quinciañera party too….I guess I have to start saving….oh, my daughter got some sparkles in a bottle… she sprayed some on me, now I look like a cheap sex therapist….

It was fun but now it’s over… funny how fast vacation are shorts, my wife and kid are on a plane coming back from Vegas and my kid’s first quinciañera party…. She wants one now too….  Well I wish them a safe trip….

Hey first snow accumulation of the year…yay!... they are (Canada weather office) putting out warnings to be on the lookout for  accumulations between 5-10cm…???.... I remember when the warnings would be issued for 20cm+!!... it appears people are soft now and 5 to 10 is a snow storm…wimps..goto go and get my lotto ticket before the snow impedes me to go out…

Today it’s like a spring day, not like last time that they told me to wonder out there…freaking mormmons…

So I’m watching this commercial about the “No No” hair removal gizmo when suddenly my daughter tells me that she wants that…. Obviously her dad answer back without missing a  beat: “No no”…. so she’s all confused and reiterates her request about having this fine product for the holidays… I still answer with “No no”… I’m not going to lie to you, my kid is still lost and basically has to wait for me to explain the joke… she didn’t laugh at it… what a weird generstion….

Well it ain’t all that bad…. I didn't like my new number seeing that it would have take me time to learn a new “438” area code… my old carrier had made it too easy to remember my cell number… 5 freaking “8” in a 7 digits phone number: infallible to remember… so I called Rogers and explained my dilemma… I told them it was a request from an MS dude with beginning symptoms of dementia…. And guess what?.... not only did I get a “514” area code number (original Montreal) but they gave me a number that has 4 of the same digit, IN A FREAKING ROW!!! If you can’t remember this number you’re a vegetable, seriously!... it’s looking good…

I’ve been quiet lately but when I find erroneous information that has been disperse through the years and has mislead people around the world I yell “Stop”…woah là!

People, I have heard like you that the 21^st of December (in 2 weeks) the end of the world is here… well doing research I found out that this is not the case. The date that the Mayans believed the world is ending… and even this is wrong…the proper date is December 23^rd….The 23^rd! not the 21^st and the world was not ending but rather the ruler of that era was finishing his reign and a new one was taking over! So my cousin can rest assure that come December 22^nd she will have to pay her bills…

Off to Vegas

It’s going to be a quiet day today with nothing in the horizon but my bath lady and my nurse guy coming to do their duties…

It’s my little one’s birthday today, she is turning 12; seems only like yesterday she was being born…time flies..what is her gift you might ask? Well she is going to her first quinciañera (sweet sixteen) party with her mom in Vegas baby… that and she is going to eat “Tacos El Gordo), apparently they are the best tacos thjey have ever eaten. They are off for 4 days to do the Vegas thing while I’ll be taking care of by my oldest, my brother and my mother-in-law… yay….i don’t think I’ll be having an orgy anytime soon…

Go outside they said, spring like weather they said, you will like it they said…. In what freaking planet do these people think this is “spring like”?! What the hell is their problem?! I went out there and it was windy, with some rain droplets and I could have sworn that there was some snowflakes in there somewhere… I did go to the shopping mall but only because I had to, otherwise I would have stayed indoors…And the kicker?... when I came out of the freaking mall, the sun was shining in all its glory…. I didn’t stay outside cause I knew mother nature was probably PMSing and wasn’t sure if she was happy or sad…

The story of my life (condensed)

Just had the meeting with my occupational therapist and it went so so… She seems to be more incline to the apartment… even if I told her that over there… WAIT?!... You didn't know about this!?

The story is that one of my wife’s clients past away and her husband would like us to move into the house which is about to be vacant. So I asked the inspector if I could transfer the 13k I am getting to fix up the current place… he made it sound so easy, “Same city? Sure, knock yourself out, but you have to go through the CLSC”…. I just did, she’s very negative about the whole situation…So at the end she will schedule a visit to the house and see if it’s “OK” for me to move there…. Man I have to win the lottery soon so I could give them all the finger…. The index one you gutter brain folks…

Well it was a beautiful weekend with a breakfast Saturday and Chinese food on Sunday and I am depressed people…. De, pressed…

Back when I was somebody, I was a danger to the food industry.. When I went to eat somewhere, I ate! I’m talking gobs of food, once they kicked us out of a cold cuts buffet because we were overeating….really!... Then there was the time that while waiting for our McDs order in the parking lot (something like 40 burgers for a party) my oldest brother and I had like 4 big macs each! And I stopped because he made me, otherwise I could have gone all night…Then I started to slow down, I mean even younger people than me were pigging out more… like the breakfast I could only gobble down 4 Sausage Mcfuffin only to be beaten down by my little bro who had 5 or 6… shameful really… Nowadays I can only eat 1 plate at a Chinese buffet, when the possibilities exists for me to have 2,3,4 or more servings of foods… I think I’m getting old, even my wife can handle 2 servings not to mention my kids…. I really hate MS…

Well finished my breakfast fest, success!!  Let me tell you 21 persons in a 5 ½ is pretty crowded, especially when everybody, except 3, is over 100 pounds…. I had bacon because God is great, otherwise I would have to be describing the odor of it to you…It was good people, maple syrup flavored bacon, with toast and beans and a shit load of extras… now I am dead, over stuffed and preparing for tomorrow…..

I had several visits this afternoon, my sister-in-law and my friend visited me at the same time. My in-law was to say happy birthday to my kid, seeing that she won’t be able to make it tomorrow and my friend came by just to say “hi” and to provide me with the opportunity to dig into her family life… Yeah, she too wants to find skeletons in her closet, I told her that you shouldn't wake up sleeping lions but she insisted….so, hey, her life not mine…

Well folks, it’s the end of another magical month and thus we begin the last month of the year. One that may or may not be cut short due to the stupid Aztec or Mayas or Pipiles, who the F knows…. Well my first meeting came and went, she was selling insurance….eek!... if she would have tell me this yesterday I would have save her the trip; you see folks, I’m un-insurable! MS you know… So in she came all strong with her “I’m going to sell you something” attitude and off she went with her “stupid fat guy” look… I told her she should have told me what she was selling yesterday…poor kid…

So yesterday we were seeing the X-Factor and all I can say is: What the hell is wrong with you America?! Voting off Paige instead of Cece?! ‘you know how demoralized my wife was?!... she’s starting to lose faith on the show…Frankly I was a bit disappointed myself, it appears you guys are tone-deaf and don’t know what good singing is…I personally like Tate's way of singing, but I am almost certain that is going to be that 13 year old girl that is going to win…then again 3E seems to be pretty hot with the chicks…I really hate this type of show…. And don’t get me started on Project Runway….

Well, I’ll tell you why…. You see it’s days like today where my head plays trick with me, in my head I am going to go out for a stroll and enjoy the day… well it doesn’t happen like that, before I go out there I have check the weather, today was a balmy -15c, then when the superman in me believes he can tolerate such frigid temperatures… There’s a consortium of people that must give their approval; this morning it was a group made up of my oldest and my wife… “Looks slippery…NO!”… so their standards were not met, I could get hurt…. Dam! And here I was ready to defy nature and show her who was boss… not happening people, these are the days when I must stay inside for the benefit of mankind…sucks to have MS folks…anyways, guests are on the agenda this afternoon, so radio silence will be observed….

So what’s new with you?...Me?... same crap different day… I had my bath guy perform his duties and I ate my meals on wheels… I have no clue what I ate, mbut I know it was dead and it must have been cooked in like a gallon of oil because it was dripping 10-40 when I started to swallow it.. Talk about YUCK!

So tomorrow I have and old colleague I used to work with, one of the rare people that still talk to me seeing that everyone that use to adore me has now stop talking to me…they probably think it’s contagious… the looser thing not the MS….

I think I’ll have a quiet afternoon and close my eyes for a sec or two… I am waiting for my Galaxy S-III with great anticipation…it’s always cool to get a new gadget…

Yeah, we got some white stuff pooping on us… And Saturday? 5-10cm are expected, that’s like 2-5 inches of snow…I guess that’s why they call it winter.

In Xmas news, it appears I will be getting the speech recognition software Dragon Naturally Speaking as a store has it at half off the normal price… I'll be able to be more productive… yay!....it’s going to be cool, I get to create a ne profile and dictate all sorst of shit….any hoot… it’s my day people… I will see you tomorrow…

It was another “busy” day for me so far… I had the nurse that came and took some blood for exams, I didn’t know that this had to be done every month now, he also came to change the dressing on my wound…. And I just got my bath lady cleaning session done… so in a nut shell, my day is done….

So this weekend will be a double whammy one, with a breakfast on Saturday and a lunch on Sunday; all of these to celebrate my youngest hitting the big 12-O!!!... and the happ/sad part of this coming of age?.... The fat guy is dead! Long live the fat guy!....By fat guy I mean Santa has finally cease to exist for her… I am now the official Christmas maker round this house…I don’t think the tooth bitch still exists but if she does, I will invent that she ran away with Mr. Claus to Vegas where they both live happily ever after….

What a morning…in a bad way…

I just canceled my appointment with the doctor, he pushed it until next week and I had to make several calls to different people regarding my MS  situation… I still have to deal with those….and what about yesterday!..

Sunday night I call my wife’s cell company to find out info on something with the bill… why did I call them?.... I am no good at this sort of stuff….not only did I got the required info, but I got a new cell phone!!... yeah,  a Galaxy III-S or S -II, the rival of the iPhone V… the guy was good, he could have been selling air and I would have bought it right away….but there was a draw back, I had to cancel my old phone and that didn’t go as planned… It’s like breaking up with a girlfriend, you try to find the right words but they insist that perhaps it could be different if you just give her a chance… I mean, they play the long term relationship card and everything, but at the end they eventually accept it….I hate changing mobile phone company

I was thinking heavily this afternoon, really meditating my ass off when suddenly I was scared out of my slumb…er …I mean my meditation sequence by my Tuesday’s bath girl. She asked if she could come in and giggle her ass off on my sudden move from Delta waves into Alpha ones, I told her I was meditating and we left it at that… but she was here to give me a bath, again. Apparently someone at the CLSC schedule her and my normal bath guy to come and service Mr. Guzman the same day… I told her that I already had been taken care of but it was good she came because I needed to cancel her for tomorrow seeing that I will be going to the hospital in the morning. She had a better idea, she was going to come extra early and provide me with a bath instead of cancelling; she then took off with the smart aleck remark on how I could go back to meditating…..

So, I finished with my daily formalities and I am ready to tackle my head… nothing major plan on my side, just inhale in and exhale…sigh…

My oldest has her first competition in swimming today and she left nervous to school. I told her to relax and to think nothing about the competition; it was just like seeing who was the fastest kid… just like when she would race her cousins… That relaxed her a bit; well she’ll be off until about 8:00PM tonight and I hope she had fun…

Other than that, nada people!... just enjoying my day howeber I can….

Hey in other news, hats off to National Geographic channel; they air a documentary on super storm “Sandy” (Super storm 2012) and that natural disaster that just happen a month ago. Wow.. I remember when it was months, nay years, before we would have a docu-show on stuff like this… my hearth goes out to those people who suffered….

So obviously I had to change the channel or she was going to be quiet playing on her tablet…(I Know, it wouldn’t have been a bad thing)… so “we change the channel to a docucrap show on a singer/song writer that I have never ever heard about, Ron Sextherapy or something,  something that was millions of times better than Star Wars….ZZZzzzzZZZ…. honestly, this is when suicidal should be legalize when you are force to watch crappy show… if it would be legal, I would have given her some cyanide to make it look like an accident…

Well we are finally getting the oranges that we had purchased from my daughter’s school to help them do something….I’ll be seeing 80 pounds worth of fruit in my home and they will be gone in a jiffy seeing that my girls devour anything that is eatable….pigs…

I am going to miss these contribution campaigns that primary (1 to 6^th grade) school have, my youngest is going to high school next year and these people barely make noise… so I think buying 80 pounds worth of oranges was worth it…. Now what the fuc is going on out side??...i hear moaning…here’s hoping for the best…I wouldn’t like a murder in my building…

A glorious day to you all…

Well it seems that “rush” and “early” are the key actions of this week and were they ever present today…

You see, my chair wasn’t completely charged this morning so breakfast was going to be served in bed to me; with a bit of reservation from my wife’s part a she had many things to do…poor her… Nevertheless my coffee was set on my hospital table and as I am about to start drinking it, the nurse is knocking at my patio door… rats!... Okay, the usual weekly get together… then, charge or not, I was put on the chair to complete my morning ritual, but all of this done with Damocles sword hanging on my head…what can you do when you live in a zoo…

Right now, I already ordered my monthly medical stash and it seems that with every new medication they try on me, my wallet gets emptier faster and faster; thank God for my lottery dreams that yesterday paid out the exuberant amount of $10,000 minus the last 3 “0”… so at least I get to play another day…Yay… any hoot bath guy cometh…I’ll see you later…

What's that thing called?

Yeah, I know, a tad, just a tad, late today but I have a good excuse…. Remember those appointments I talked about yesterday? Well one is done!! The wheelchair has been fixed and I am finally happy; but it came with a cost people…nothing is free in life… I was up at 5:30AM to take the freaking bus at 7:10AM so that I could be at the CMR greeting the workers because it was that freaking early…I OPEN THE FREAKING PLACE UP!!! THERE WAS NOBODY WHEN I GOT THERE!!! I was in the middle of a nap when I stared to hear “Bonjour monsieur Guzman…” over and over again!!... Yesterday when I reserved my bus they couldn't give me anything after 6:55AM, take it or leave it they said… well no, they didn't say that but I’m sure the little shit who reserved my bus was thinking it!... I’m probably ranting too much here, I really don’t think that she was a little shit… she was probably stressed because their computer system was down most of the day; all I know is that I was there real, I’m talking cock-a-doodle-doo time here, early and now I’m dead….soo cya…

Adjusting my life

Holly frijoles batman! WTF happened?...

Well, I got no clue but out of the blue life threw appointments at me that I wasn't mentally ready for; all of them at pathetically odd hours….

I got a call from my neurologist’s secretary suggesting that I go see him next week for a visit… needless to say that it falls at the nick of time because he has to fill up some paper work for the insurance company and I’m pretty sure he wouldn't do it if I didn't see him…. And then my chair people want to see me tomorrow at 8:30AM!! WTF?! I wonder if they know the time I will have to take the bus; it will probably be at 7:00AM…all of this because they have no room for me in the afternoon…so. I’ll be busy these coming days…

A hectic morning, just a bit…

Today we are winterizing the car, tires, washing, er I think that’s it because oil change is until 56k and we are at 50 or 53… so wife is taking care of that…but it is the hustling of the girl, the eating fast because she has an appointment and I have a lady bath giver that will be here any freaking minute…. And later on, it’s such a beautiful day, we will be going to the big shopping mall… no problem for me, I’m on a motorized wheelchair, but my wife will have to walk to get there (one of the rare times she does); poor her…

Today I will be cooking with my daughter, seeing that she’s here, spaghetti sauce from scratch… no readymade stuff for us today, we got the meat, we got the tomatoes, we got the veggies… we are set!!... let’s hope for the best but prepare for the worst…

I’ve been on the quiet side hese days, thinking a lot… I don’t know what triggered this last episode of the thinking game, but nothing nor anybody is safe…nobody!... I guess I’ll ride this wave and see where it takes me….

Hey, I traded my way to a house!

I used to see the show where people traded stuff until they got what they wanted; in my case, I wanted a house. I started with a pin. I then went on to a pen followed by a chocolate bar. As I continued my hunt for my goal, I got a roll of toilet paper. This was a critical point in my wheeling and dealing since it allowed me to trade it for a 1965 Oldsmobile, poor guy couldn't hold it in any longer (thanks Ex-lax) ... I then went and drove the car around to be seen by potential swappers and it worked! 3 days into my riding game, some dude wanted to trade it for an AK-47 with a clip, next thing you know, I'm getting a freaking house!...with the help of an AK-47...

It’s all kosher, I don’t think the dude's going to come back and yell “foul”….that has only happened once in human history…

Sleeping at the CMR

Happy weekend people…

So my visit yesterday, how did it went… In a nutshell, bad. You see I got there and the guy who was going to work on my chair put me in a bed type mechanism; he took my chair and I was listening to this girl being pushed by her mom on a wheelchair while she (the girl) was wailing…I think she was affected by cerebral palsy… any hoot, the combination of her wailing, me in a bed, my mind in la la land made me fell asleep!  After about 1 hour the guy came all apologetic and woke me up with the story hat they had the wrong piece and hat they were going to put the original one back until hey get he proper piece…. So nothing really hqappen except a nap…

Coming back, I decided to stroll around as it was a beautiful day… so I did this until I realized that I had an appointment with the dietitian  so I rushed back and made the meeting… she’s coming back with a device to weight me folks…to paraphrase Socrates: Shit just got real…

I’m off to the CMR and as a double bonus, I have a meeting with my dietician this afternoon. Oh yeah, yesterday after posting my “where the F is my doctor” post. The guy came in saying how disappointed he was with the new medicine that he had prescribed…. He was giving me 3 more months with the current medicine and after he would make more blood exams; if the results were similar to those he had seen, he was going to put me in a new wonder drug that had just came out…. I’m starting to feel like a guinea pig here…maybe he’ll discover a cure for MS by accident or even better, my hair is going to grow back…Hey, dreams are still free…any hoot, wishing you a beautiful morning/afternoon….

Well, I am waiting for my bath guy to come over but I am on edge waiting for this afternoon already; why? Well, I got a really early call from my doctor this morning. He wants to come and talk to me this afternoon… To discuss my latest blood exam results… I hate shit like this, just tell me the news over the phone, I can handle it! At least, I think I can! No, he wants to make me sweat,  he wants me to repent, he wants me to change my ways!...fer crying out loud, what is it?!?……hold on….

Dam, I forgot it was Thursday and the nurse had to come to change the dressing on my wound….plus I got the flu shot… yay…off the yearly bucket list!

So now my bath guy, then the doctor and tomorrow the CMR…. What a life…

A whistling ghost

Ouf, that was a close one….

You see, a couple of months ago my daughter reported to her mom that she was seeing a spirit in her room, I think I even blogged about it. Then my wife told her mother and her mother after investigating how this spirit looked, she determine that it was the grandfather of my kid, meaning my wife’s dad…Hey, I got no “pedo” whit this; whatever paranormal shit happens up there, stays up there… I had no problems with Casper the friendly ghost…. 

But then a couple of weeks ago I was all alone in the house when I suddenly heard someone whistling upstairs….weird, I filed it under “getting old, hearing shit” label and went on with my life…. Then yesterday, I was relaxing on my chair when suddenly I heard someone whistling behind me… WTF?!?.... I looked everywhere and analyzed step by step what could it have been… after a long while, I came to the conclusion that it was the entity that my kid saw; so when my wife came home I told her my story and she asked her mom if his dad (my wife’s dad) use to whistle a lot, she confirmed that he would whistle quite often… Well, there it is… I am hearing ghost! This morning, my wife came and told me where the whistling came from…. Her freaking Samsung pad; every time she gets an email the stupid thing whistles a melody…so no ghost for me…as for my daughter seeing spirits, well that’s her problem…

It was his son, who was beat up by the army, because they say he was a communist, that provided the info… imagine that… what a fucked up family, communist in one side and hard core capitalist murderers in the other… and I have enough time to dig into this mess and find documents little by little…

Riding out the storm

Good day folks, it’s going to be +20c degrees (about) today… so beautiful day for strolling later on…

Although it is a gorgeous day out there today, in my place it felt like I woke up to a Nor'easter. It was rush rush rush, one girl off to her swimming practice, the other to the bus stop and the other to clean an office… all of this while preparing my lunch, sitting me down on my chair, giving me my morning pills and giving me breakfast…. It was a hurricane type of morning, with the probabilities of it happening all week long…

This week nothing major planed, seems all is quiet on my medical calendar. I will get a visit from the nutritionist come Friday and perhaps go for the wheelchair parts if they call, oh yeah: I will have to make an appointment with my neurologist because the insurance company wants to make sure I’m still sick…so…I will have to prove them once again that yes, I still got MS….

So I give my outing a 8.2… wasn't cold, food was good and plates got dropped…so it was a good night…

Yeah I've been seeing incredulous movies since the morning light and why did God give me such an analytic brain that forbids me from enjoying such films!?

Twister, really?! There is so many crap there is not even funny… surviving a direct F-5?! Com’on people I know that is just a movie, but make me believe it…and then The Green Lantern! First of all I don’t believe that the guy is stupid enough to abandon Scarlett Johansson for the girl in the movie; day and night my friends.. And the movie, a super hero race that defends the universe from evil?! Seriously?! And the bad guy is a black cloud that basically toasts planets… is this for real?!.... To recap my Saturday: OUTSIDE!... strolling…

I went out to do the grocery shopping with my wife, then I stayed out on my patio and then I went strolling around my neighborhood; needless to say…I got lost…In my own freaking neighborhood!!! Talk about needing a GPS, I wonder if I could ask one from the CMR… After I came back in and played some Animal Crossing, chit chatted about this and that, then I shaved on my own… it’s something that I am able to do now, is not the perfect shave but it helps me out when the CLSC shaves me; doesn’t hurt as much. Tomorrow we are going “Ay caramba” with the rest of my wife’s family and then, the freaking weekend is finish…God it sucks…Hope you had a great weekend so far…

An ordinary day

Good day…

Well, gorgeous day out there… but cold… I will go and do some shopping later on, nothing major, just food for the week. Today we had our first Christmas talk with my wife regarding what is going to be purchase for the kids this year…I don’t think we will do much as a celebration as my mother is on the down side and I am thinking that all of my brothers will be extremely busy taking care of her…. So here is hoping you have a beautiful day full of fun and surprises…
