Too much heaven on my mind...

Hello!

Hope you are all doing well...

So I was feeling rather blah yesterday, so much so that my nurse noticed it and dug it out of me. We talked about it and she suggested that I hear music or watch a movie. Before she left I told her that I was going to look into it and promised her that makes like she came here she was going to see a new man.

Judas wasn't seeing it...
And I did! I pulled up my old JCS (Jesus Christ Superstar) DVD and started watching it. I asked my oldest if she wanted to see it and she said no, but my youngest one was all freaky about it; so we saw it together. Lots of questions, lots and lots of questions… Remember that this household is not a religious one; they barely know JC and thus have many questions about him and the existence of him and of all the religious stuff. She liked the music very much and was attentive when I told her to be, but she had the odd comment here and there. One that shook my world was said when Mary Magdalen is singing the song "I don't know how to love him"; one of my favorite songs but will now become just another dumb song to me thanks to my daughter. You see, when it was about to start I told her the song was about Mary being in love with JC and not knowing how to demonstrate it. She heard the first verses and then added

- "You know that they didn't shave their legs back then right?"

!!! WTF?!!! Why didn't I think of that?! Now every time I'll hear that song I will think about hairy women. The kid was right, all these years and I have never thought about it. There was no shaving kit back then; in fact I don't think men cared about hairy women. This remark of course got started me thinking about everything they didn't have then, like ice, TV, radio, and the most important of them all: Toilet paper… Thank you very much kid, a perfectly romantic song ruin forever…

I am never seeing a movie with the kids again…

The fickle side of me....

Hello!

How are you doing?

So I got an email this morning asking me if I could help them save the faith. Yes it was one of those emails requesting help on some social issue or other, but I did find it rather weird; especially that it was sent to me, a guy who has lost his faith. I'm sorry, I gave at the office. How can someone that is faithless help a group or a person keep the faith alive?! No I have lost my faith and I don't see it's coming back any time soon. Every day that goes by it seems I lose it a little bit more. Take this weekend for instance, my faith in humankind went down a notch.

I was seeing miss universe and was happy with the results that were being presented. Then it got to the final five, good choice: Colombia, USA, Ukraine, Netherlands and Jamaica. Folks, the question was rather simple: "what do you think your country has brought to the world as a contribution?"

Everybody answered like a dumb ass! Except USA and Jamaica I was dumbfounded by their answers. I think Ukraine said something related to their military. All I know is I wanted Jamaica to win, the girl was hot and one of the rare things was that she was wearing a short hairdo.

Unfortunately, Colombia with her stupid answer and her boobs won! I mean, with all due respect to Sophia Vergara and any other really hot Colombian woman, the contestant from Colombia didn't deserve to win due to her inability to answer the question properly. Miss Jamaica was honest by stating that her Island nation had brought to the world Bob freaking Marley and Usain Bolt (even the names are cool!). I cry foul and I am not alone

I do take points off for not mentioning their contribution to weedland.

Am I dead or am I just pretending

Hello!

How are we today?

Well it's official now; my hands are not working on the keyboard; looks like I'm going to have to be dictating my blog. I'm okay with that, I don't know if it's a permanent-thing or if they are going to come back. We'll see…

So yeah, I just saw a movie called "Haunter". It's a movie about dead people that are afraid of a ghost. It's a Canadian movie; it is quite redundant (broken record that plays the same tune over and over again), quite fucked up. The story of a girl who dies with her family in a suicide orchestrated by her dad but who is not to blame because he gets possessed by a murderer ghost (catching breath). This ghost also killed other girl in different time periods, and they are somehow all connected to this girl named Lisa who has to convince them that they are dead so they can “kill” the ghost (catching breath again). Pretty complicated, it’s the type of movie that your wife starts watching but has to leave with the dog to the park and for some weird reason you get hooked on. The ending is lame and my wife is going to hate it but…..

It's a weird way to spend your Saturday morning…

Hey, could be worse…

PS Fucks you up real good, it got me thinking of my theory about the mirror people. Are we just a reflection of what we see in the mirror?... don't dis my theory, just cause I ain't a scientist doesn't mean is an invalid theory. I mean them people (scientists) are now working on the Universe being a hologram.... soooooo, who's fucked up now..
