Call me a billy....

Konichiwa folks…

Hope you’re having a great day!

Use the force Chuck..
Folks, I am one of those fruit cakes who believes that shit always happens for a reason. I mean, I got MS for a reason, I’m writing to you for a reason, got married for a reason and if I get unhitched is because there will be a reason for it too. So following this theory, yesterday I was meditating in front of my computer when suddenly I was awoken… er… disturbed by the cats running amok only to find a message from the Universe in my computer screen.

I’m telling you, shit happens for a reason and this message was unexpected and sooner or later it would have repercussion in my life. Even though I believe that shit happens for a reason, I seldom fall for stuff like this. What if I didn't act on this message? What if it was meant to be and I acted against it? “What ifs…” I hate those guys! And, as to reinforce the message, my little one came down from her fortress of solitude just to underline the Universe’s memo by uttering six words: “Oh yeah, I heard of that!”

-        Fuck it Chuck! If it was meant to be it was meant to be!

So as the advice I usually give people who request it -Go with the flow- I went with it. Now I just got to wait and see where this might lead…..

Take care folks….

PS Sorry, I was jibber jabbering so much that I forgot to tell you what the message was “Goat simulator 40% off”…. So I bought the software and played it a little before being kicked out by my little one so she could get a go… best six dollars I ever spent in my life…

A BBQ wet dream weekend...??!...

Hello!

Wow, what a beautiful weekend this was…. Nothing but Sun….

And my weekend was a food feast event that was planned out and executed to perfection. Friday we had beef wellington  with Greek salad and yesterday we bbq a 5 or 6 pound roast that was rubbed with a Dijon mustard concoction that elevated the taste to never before seen heights…. I gave some to my brother, niece and mother and it appear that they liked it. To accompany this dish we had corn on the cob with bbq asparagus; gluten free heaven!... it was a perfect way to celebrate the start of fall….

To top it all off, last night I had a wet dream; and I didn't even tell my wife about it! It was weird, here I was soaked to the bone under a rain storm; I was all wet! For the dream analyst out there, I was just standing around and the water was clear. Also, there was a couple of persons from my summer camp that made cameo appearances….I guess it was the crab salad that my wife bought….

Any hoot, take care people…

PS There was also a Scorpion in a fighting position.... I know, the plot thickens; right?

The bucket list tackled...

Hello!

First fall weekend people and what a beauty… sunny, warm, humid, crappy…you have to understand that when it’s humid, it’s crappy for me and other people with MS.

Last night I had one of my dreams fulfilled, when I realized how insignificant it was I felt sad about my life….  Now I’m depressed, but I will tell you what I did. I have seen some episodes of “Hell’s Kitchen” in my life time and on several of the episodes there was the mentioned of something called Beef Wellington. Well I saw what it was and made it part of my bucket list; I was not going to leave God’s green Earth without a try. So yesterday I went overboard and bought 4 Beef Wellingtons to try… now I am ready to tackle point 64 on my BL: Sleeping with the enemy. Trust me, I know what I mean..

Take care people…

PS I did like the Beef Wellington but I wasn't blown away by it (my girls didn't like it). Today I will tackle the bbq of a nice 5 pound beef roast marinated with a Dijon mustard sauce….. Epic bbq to start fall…..

PS PS I forgot to mentioned, the 19th of September I accomplished 38 years in this country..... happy b-day Carlos...remember, always remember....
