Smells like teen crap

Hello…

I got my calls done and my day, believe it or not, is coming to an end. Nothing fancy or saving the world type of shit, just stuff to keep me busy I guess…and I'm sure I forgot something...

My bubble burst today, that vintage guitar that I was hoping would bring me heavy “mula” is looking more like it could bring me some “mula”. Apparently is a student model, whatever that means, and yes it was built in 1968 but its target audience were beginners that eventually would buy a more high end guitar and then, hang on…mmmm… I just thought of something, the guy that gave the guitar to my mom gave it up because he was buying himself a Fender Stratocaster; a higher end guitar that you purchased if you knew how to play guitar. Guess their (Fender) stupid marketing scheme worked…and the guy didn't really love my mother… douche bag…

Oh well, looks like Castle and his perfect world will have to wait for another post, if I remember…

Take care folks..

PS It's sad, this is a 1968 Fender Mustang such as the one that Kurt Cobain used to play; and if you wanted autographed, I'll get someone to sign my name there for ya....

PS PS Keep in mind, my guitar is better since it's in competition red and unlike Kurt, RIP, I'm still around...

1968 was a good year

Hello!

Well back to normality everybody; and it’s about freaking time!

I’m blogging today but I am not alone. My girls have until tomorrow before I can claim this place to myself… Wife went to work, my e-farm has been taken care of already and my ninja battles are getting done; so my day is finished you might think. No, not by a long shot! I have to do a whole bunch of calls and write emails to keep this house going. The dentist, my insurance cards, my lift mechanism to repair, my door to fix, my 46 year old Mustang Fender to sell… busy busy busy!... Oh, you guys didn't know that I had such an old guitar? Well I do and I am doing maximum research to be able to get maximum buck. So far I know it was built in the USA in the Fullerton plant that closed a while back and that the guitar was made in 1968.. so far I know I could get around 4Gs for it, but my bath guy thinks I could get more; I just have to keep on digging for information on it….. Thus my year has begun and it seems to be a busy one so far; soooo, keep it real people….

Take care folks…

2014 celebrations

Hello..

A Happy New Year to you and yours. Feels like this year will be the one? Like this is it, it’s your year? Well let me just set your perception straight. Consider yourself lucky that the Earth successfully went around the Sun without having been catastrophically annihilated by a meteor, a comet, a CME (Corona Mass Ejection), a Gama ray burst or the mighty hand of someone plucking us right out of space and destroying us… so, remember last year, the one before that and the ones before those? They have all been your lucky ones because for some pathetic reason you’re still here….I’m sorry, still edgy from that cocktail of white sangria mixed with the red one…. I swear, never again….

Happy New Year 2014 edition
My celebration was different than the ones in the past; we went to a restaurant where we were promised that for $60 bucks a pop, we would experience Time Square in Brossard… well, it was nice, food was good, but I think that the mixture of booze made me a potential candidate for a DUI case. I’m pretty sure that if the cops would have stopped me and performed a field sobriety test on me I would have flunked it big time. But in a nutshell, I’d give it a 7 on 10…. I’m taking points out because they had promised me Happy New Year’s hats and they didn't delivered; fair to say that my girls, all 3 of them, were miffed about the whole situation. I on the other hand was partially drunk and happy that they had handed out mini air horns that I could play with…

Any hoot, welcome to 20 14, let’s hope we successfully make another safe circle around the Sun….

Take care folks……
