Day complete

Hello!

How was the first day of February for you?

I had a sleepy Monday, whoops Tuesday it's just that my daughters didn't have school yesterday and today the little one is sick and is at home. Nothing major just a cold but she never misses school so today we let her stay. She doesn't really bug that much she only bugs when her older sister and her are together. In fact my oldest daughter is like dynamite, you just have to put her in a group and a freaking rebellion starts, my daughters are like the Yin and the yang; my oldest one is super positive and my youngest one is fairly negative unless you do what she wants.

It's really cool having these new switches, I can control the intensity of the light beam emitting in the room. My family had to get used to them because they were either using too much light or dimming the heck out of them and wake till they put my computer screen on the wall, my wife will have to sit on my wheelchair and tilt back to be able to use the computer, with a joystick! So everything is coming together, all the gadgets that were promised to me are slowly coming in, I just hope I stay strong as I am now so that I won't need them that much.

A complete, have a good one!

And this is how it is

Hello!

Well we're finally getting one, yup it seems the weather gods have finally put their crosshair on our city. The weather forecast for tomorrow calls for 15cm of the white stuff, that's about 7 inches. I know, I know, the US has been dumped on by much more snow than that this year. What can I say? It's just one of those years here in Canada, let's call it El Niño or some other distance relative. But if I know the weather channel well I'm willing to bet that were going to get more than 15cm, last time they predicted 10 and we ended up with 20cm. I feel sorry for people that leave outside of the city, if they have to come to Montréal to work it's going to be a heckuva ride.

The world is ending

Yesterday somebody told me that I should maybe write about current affairs in my blog, that there were certain issues such as Egypt and Tunisia that perhaps people would be interested in. I thought about it for a second and then came to the conclusion, I am not CNN nor am I the New York Times! It's not that I'm belittling them it's just that I think that people get all the news they need to know from the TV and the newspaper on their own, I don't have to be pushing more information down their throat. A change of pace is always good, when they read my blog they will be taken to lala land where for a second they will laugh at the misadventures of a normal guy with MS. That's how I see things...

See you later people!

That type of guy

Hello!

I'm here, I'm here, let's get this month started.

Hello people of the world, I come in peace!

Yes well I had my bath and saw a bit of the statistic of last month, I'm sorry I'm a statistic nuts, I would say that pound for pound I'm going up there against Facebook and twitter, let me fantasize for a second here. But don't get me wrong, I already started working on my day, I called the pharmacy for a refill of insulin and the medication  my daughter takes and I also made an appointment for my wife's car, the driver door doesn't open so she's been going through the passenger door all this time. But at least it will be covered by the contract that I have with Mazda so they won't charge me a penny or so I believe, once again let me fantasize for a second here.

So it's the beginning of a new month for everybody and at least for us here in Canada, we will be rooting for Groundhog Day, I still don't know what exactly is the meaning of seeing the shadow or not but the predictions never come through anyways. I was going over with my bath guy today over the groundhog theory and he told me that there were other ones here in Québec, there's the onion theory and the bee's theory. I really didn't pay attention to how they worked but he assured me that the bee one seems to work the best. I told him that I didn't really care about those theories, I would rather be surprise by an early spring or late one, kinda like life, if I'm going to die I rather it be by surprise than by a doctor telling me that I have six months to live or if you prefer I rather see the asteroid coming towards us then to have it been predicted by scientists before. But what can I say, I'm just that type of guy...

Have a good one!
